Brisbane Powerhouse is a fantastic location for photo and film shoots with a variety of unique spaces which extend from the boundary of New Farm Park to the eastern boundary boarded by the dog park and bank of the Brisbane River. Prior approval must be sought for any photo or film shoot that occurs within the boundaries of the Brisbane Powerhouse precinct.
Family portraits and wedding photography are allowed outside the building without prior approval or any fees, however please be respectful of patrons. The venue is licensed and therefore alcohol is only available at the two resturants and is limited to licensed areas.
All other photo and film shoots must have prior approval. Enquiries and approval is to be lodged online.

Location Fees
Photo Shoot – $220 inc GST for the first two hours and $110 inc GST for every hour after that (or part thereof).
Film Shoot – price on application.
Staffing Costs
Photo Shoot – A Brisbane Powerhouse technical crew member may be required depending on the complexity of the photo shoot and is charged out at $140 for up to four hours.
Film Shoot – All film shoots will require a technical crew member be rostered onto the event charged out at $140 for up to four hours.
Electricity
$22 (inc GST) per hour
Public Liability Insurance
A certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance (minimum $10,000,000) covering the period of hire must be provided before the commencement of the hire period.
