LEO

TUE 17–SUN 22 SEPTEMBER, 2013

Presented by Brisbane Festival

LEO will rocket you to a world where the laws of gravity are thrown out the window.

Forget Newton and the apple, this hilarious one-man show will send your senses topsy-turvy. From playing saxophone in mid-air, to breakdancing up the wall, LEO will rocket you to a world where the laws of gravity are thrown out the window.

LEO is award-winning, unparalleled physical theatre for all ages. Winner of many awards including Best of Edinburgh Fringe, Leo has since gone on to dazzle audiences and wow the critics in New York.

Stay for an in-depth conversation with the artist after the Wed 18 September 7pm performance.

Please Note: This event has a complete lock out once the doors are closed and the performance has commenced.

Originally produced by Y2D Productions and Chamaeleon Productions GmbH.
Presented by arrangement with Arts Projects Australia.

Inspired by
Comedy, circus, and theatre in one.

Reviews

Alternately funny and poetic... LEO soars!

New York Post

The audience gets gravity-defying spectacle and the wizard behind the curtain at the same time.

New York Times

LEO is an eye-teasing, grin-inducing, deeply impressive work of sustained absurdist magic.

Time Out New York

It’s unusual to hear so many child-like gasps of sheer delighted astonishment in a theater. LEO is a little eye candy for the jaded gaze.
