International Cabaret Contest: Queensland Heat

SAT 11 JANUARY, 2014

Presented by Your Theatrics in association with Brisbane Powerhouse

You won’t want to miss some of the best and brightest cabaret talent from across Queensland, as they compete for a chance to win the ultimate career launching prize package!

In its 11th year, the Your Theatrics International Cabaret Contest (YTICC) explodes with a new name, new dates, heats in new cities and new prizes!

Contestants will take to the stage in heats across Australia and New Zealand, to compete in the biggest cabaret contest in Australasia! Only a handful of acts from each city will be selected to compete in the Grand Final event at The Basement in Sydney on Friday 17 January.

One lucky singer will ultimately win a HUGE prize package, including a fully produced tour of their newly devised solo show touring to seven Music Festivals across Australia and New York. The prize package includes mentorship from a prominent industry figure, flights and accommodation, plus $1000 cash, a photographic package, and a website for their show.

Don’t miss some of the best and brightest cabaret talent from across two countries, as they compete for a chance to win the ultimate career launching prize package!

For more information about the contest, or to apply today click here.

With generous support from the Dobell Foundation and the continued support of some of the worlds greatest Cabaret and Theatre Festivals we are able to provide an unequivocal opportunity once again for this years winner! We're excited to launch heats in New Zealand for the first time and I look forward to announcing further international expansion in years to come.
