So Frenchy So Chic: Lou Doillon

WED 15 JANUARY, 2014

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse

Due to hospitalisation Lou Doillon has had to regretfully cancel her Australian tour. Please contact the Box Office to transfer your tickets to Lilly Wood & the Prick on the 16th January or for a full refund.

Lou Doillon performs at So Frenchy So Chic.

While Lou Doillon might be considered French pop royalty (daughter of Jane Birkin, half-sister of Charlotte Gainsbourg), the acclaim for her debut album, Places, has proven the former model is a serious talent in her own right. The recent Best Female Artist winner at the French Grammys writes and sings heartfelt folk-pop about love, regret and obsession.

There is a calm, clear surface to Doillon’s music. Underneath it’s a torrent of turmoil.
