BQFF: Let Love Fly Launch Party

A Rooftop Cocktail Launch Party with river views, be first to see the 2014 Brisbane Queer Film Festival (Fri 28 March–Sat 05 April) program revealed in style.

With a classic queer cinema twist, step back in time and celebrate the diversity of the GLBTIQ community in Brisbane at Let Love Fly.

Enjoy cocktails and canapés while enjoying a sneak peek reveal of the new Brisbane Queer Film Festival campaign and the announcement of the exciting 2014 program.

Discover alongside the feature film program, the first time new events including; festival retrospective screenings, film forums, queer discussions, business networking, an official closing night party with an anniversary celebration screening, a twelve hour slumber party event and the launch of a new national queer filmmaker competition Queer Aussie Shorts.

Entertainment will be provided by Brisbane rock legend Carol Lloyd, Queen of the night Vollie LaVont, and BQFF favourite DJ ISH.

Is parking available?
There is limited free-of-charge, all-day, on-site car parking at Brisbane Powerhouse. If you are travelling by car, please arrive early to secure a park. Additional free parking is available in New Farm Park accessible via Brunswick Street and Oxlade Drive.

Is there food and drink available?
Brisbane Powerhouse has two on-site restaurants; Bar Alto and Watt Restaurant + Bar. More information can be found on our Eat + Drink page.
