MELT Picnic

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse

Grab your picnic basket and join us for a fun event for all the community. Best of all it’s free! We will have a licensed bar and your favourite food trucks back in action!

We’re celebrating all forms of love at MELT Picnic with a host of fun events and performances, all held in our beautiful parklands.

Families, friends and lovers are invited to picnic, participate and perform. Strut your stuff in the Dog & Owner Costume Parade, behold the Dykes on Bikes row, judge the Hot Boi Contest, help create live art and enjoy free performances.

Come and celebrate love with us this summer.

Please note that BYO is not permitted at this event. We strongly recommend public transport with both bus and ferry options available.

This event is part of MELT: A Celebration of Queer Arts and Culture 2016.
