Beauty Pageant

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse

Move over RuPaul, there’s a new contest in town. Cheer on drag queens, kings and trans beauties as they battle it out to be crowned winner of the MELT Beauty Pageant.

We all know that anything goes at a beauty pageant and things are about to get feisty as our finalists go wig to wig, glitter to glitter.

There are three categories to be won: Graceful Glamourzons, Tremendous Talent and Costumes with a Message – and then the ultimate crown of Brisbane Beauty will be bestowed.

This event is part of MELT: A Celebration of Queer Arts and Culture 2016.
