Elle Reid (Tomlin) has just gotten through breaking up with her girlfriend when her granddaughter Sage unexpectedly shows up needing 600 dollars before sundown. Temporarily broke, Grandma Elle and Sage spend the day trying to get their hands on the cash as their unannounced visits to old friends and flames end up rattling skeletons and digging up secrets.

Where is New Farm Cinemas?

New Farm Cinemas is located at 701 Brunswick St, New Farm.

Is parking available?

There is limited parking at New Farm Cinemas but numerous options surrounding it. Catch buses 196 or 199 to stop 9. The bus stop is 94 metres from the cinema. Alternatively catch the free City Hopper from North Quay to Sydney St  Ferry Terminal. It is a 10 Minute walk to the cinema. Check Translink here.

Where do I collect my ticket?
Your tickets for Brisbane Queer Film Festival will be stored at Brisbane Powerhouse until the day of the film. They will then be transferred to New Farm Cinemas where they will be available an hour before the first screening. If you're unsure of where your tickets will be, please call our Box Office on 07 3358 8600.

Is there food and drink available?
New Farm Cinemas has a licensed bar, who allow you to take your drinks into the cinema while you watch your favourite movie, along with a stocked confectionary bar. There are also a number of restaurants and bars nearby along Brunswick St.
