Anne Edmonds

That's Eddotainment

TUE 01–SUN 06 MARCH, 2016

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Token Events

A banjo, a jig, a lady claiming to be pig – ‘That’s Eddotainment!’

Anne “Eddo” Edmonds makes a much-anticipated return to the Brisbane Comedy Festival with a brand new hour of stand up.

Following a stellar 2015, which saw her sell out shows around the country, score rave reviews and walk away with the highly-coveted, peer-nominated Comic’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Eddo is back to perform at the Brisbane Powerhouse.

Seen on ABC’s Dirty Laundry Live and It’s a Date, it’s easy to see why Anne is touted as one of the most exciting stand up comedians on the Australian comedy scene today.

Still laughing the next day simply a fantastic performer ★★★★

Unaffected charm and sheer comic brilliance ★★★★1/2

Eddo is real Aussie funny. Just when she gets you laughing yourself stupid , she surprises with a deft punch of pathos and before your heart's had time to break she gets you laughing yourself stupid again. She's brilliant.
