Brisbane Born and Bread

WED 02–THU 03 + TUE 08 MARCH, 2016

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse

Five of Australia’s most promising comedians return to their hometown to share the stage for one hour only, bringing a variety of stand-up styles, stories and one-liners.

The only things these five acts truly have in common are that they’re funny and from Brisbane. Featuring Tim Hewitt, Angus Gordon, Alex Ward, Gearard McGeown and Aaron Gocs.

This is a showcase that is guaranteed to have you laughing all the way home. Come see what these emerging comedians have learnt since leaving town and what they can never un-learn from being raised in Brisbane.

Happy to be back and excited to perform in the place they all call home, Brisbane Born and Bread brings a show overflowing with honest humour and is one not to be missed.

This actually might just be the best thing since sliced bread.
