VIRTUAL Drag is an encounter with drag queens and kings via virtual reality headsets and projections.

These cyberspace encounters bring the user face to face with the magnificent Philmah Bocks, the divine Art Simone, the knee weakening Transylvanian Gypsy Kings, and Jackie Hammer, who is simply a bit of a hot mess.

Virtual Drag is a free, immersive virtual reality experience featuring 3D scans of drag performers set in fantasy environments created by artists Alison Bennett, Megan Beckwith & Mark Payne.

ExtremeVR is supporting this event, by providing 360 degree fully immersive video, fully immersive gaming and virtual reality environments using the latest in VR experiences.  As the largest provider of VR hardware in Queensland, ExtremeVR provides the sensation and life like experience of what it would be like to swim with Sharks, Turtles and Dolphins or even to ride a Roller Coaster.

Is parking available?
There is limited free-of-charge, all-day, on-site car parking at Brisbane Powerhouse. If you are travelling by car, please arrive early to secure a park. Additional free parking is available in New Farm Park accessible via our link road, which is opened after 5pm every day.

What time should I arrive?
It's best to arrive at least 30-40 minutes before the show start time to find a car park, pick up your tickets at box office and make your way to the venue. The doors of the venue will open approximately 10-15 minutes prior to show time.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets will be available for pick up from Box Office 90 minutes prior to show time.

Is there food and drink available

Brisbane Powerhouse has two on-site restaurants; Bar Alto and Watt Restaurant + Bar. More information can be found on our Eat + Drink page.
