Henry Marsh sits down with Paul Barclay, presenter and series producer of Big Ideas on ABC RN to share his unforgettable insight into the highs and lows of a life dedicated to operating on the human brain, in all its exquisite complexity.

Do No Harm was a Sunday Times and New York Times best-seller and won the PEN Ackerley Prize, the South Bank Sky Arts Award for Literature and was shortlisted for awards including the Costa Biography Award and Guardian First Book Award.

Marsh became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1984 and was then appointed Consultant Neurosurgeon at Atkinson Morley’s/St George’s Hospital in London, where he worked for thirty years.

Since retiring from full-time work, Henry has continued to operate and lecture in Nepal, Albania and Ukraine and has been the subject of two award-winning documentary films, Your Life in Their Hands and The English Surgeon. He was made a CBE in 2010.

Is parking available?
There is limited free-of-charge, all-day, on-site car parking at Brisbane Powerhouse. If you are travelling by car, please arrive early to secure a park. Additional free parking is available in New Farm Park accessible via our link road, which is opened after 5pm every day.

What time should I arrive?
It's best to arrive at least 30-40 minutes before the show start time to find a car park, pick up your tickets at box office and make your way to the venue. The doors of the venue will open approximately 10-15 minutes prior to show time.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets will be available for pick up from Box Office 90 minutes prior to show time.

Is there food and drink available
