Griffith Drama presents
Wonders of a Godless World
Thu 16 - Sat 25 Aug 2012
An orphan, a witch, a virgin, an archangel, a duke and…the devil?
On an unnamed island, in a gothic hospital resting in the shadow of a volcano, a wordless orphan girl works on the wards housing the insane. When a silent, unmoving new patient - a foreigner - arrives at the hospital, strange phenomena occur, bizarre murders take place, and the lives of the patients and the island’s inhabitants are thrown into turmoil. From the core of the planet to the outer limits of the solar system, what happens between them is an extraordinary exploration of consciousness, reality and madness.
Wonders of a Godless World is a theatrical explosion of inner demons, desire and devastation – a powerful and apocalyptic story that sweeps you from the beginning of time to the end of the earth.
