POWERFUL IMAGERY TELLS STORY OF THE YEAR THAT WAS

World Press Photo 2010 marks the fourth year the exhibition has made Brisbane Powerhouse one of its world tour destinations. The annual photojournalism competition that captures ‘the year that was’ will visit the venue from Saturday 5 June to Sunday 27 June.

CAPED CRUSADERS, COSMONAUTS AND CHILD STARS

The mythical Icarus, pop-cultural icon Superman and a fictional Soviet cosmonaut named Omon Ra… the Restaged Histories project explores these three young men and their thwarted attempts to fly in YOUTHvsPHYSICS in the Powerhouse Theatre from Wednesday 2 to Saturday 5 June.
