Casual Venue Supervisor
The Venue Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe and efficient venue for all staff, clients, patrons and members of the public visiting Brisbane Powerhouse. This position performs the role of Chief Fire Warden and together with the Front of House Duty Manager is responsible for the safe evacuation of staff, clients and patrons in case of emergency. The Venue Supervisor provides technical and practical assistance in the set up and strike of events that are managed by the Events department.
This role provides support to the Precinct Director, Facilities Coordinator and Brisbane City Council Facilities Manager in the practical management and maintenance of the Brisbane Powerhouse precinct, and assists in the smooth operation of the precinct as a whole.
