Located on Yagara Country, our magnificent heritage-listed power station is a cultural landmark recognised and loved by the community. As Brisbane continues to be the fastest-growing Australian capital city, so does our thirst for cultural experiences. Our iconic Precinct is well poised to become Queensland’s home of contemporary culture and art with two main stage theatres, three smaller performance venues, gallery spaces, two restaurants and bars, corporate facilities and one of the best river views in Brisbane.

To complement our current offering, Brisbane Powerhouse is in an exciting growth phase where we will bring art outside, creating a series of external venues for performance, film and feasting. Our new spaces will include:

• A semi-permanent, 350-seat ivory-sailcloth venue to be known as the Pleasuredome
• A deluxe outdoor cinema featuring blockbusters, arthouse screenings, film festivals and concerts combining film and live performance
• Night Feast, a new bi-annual, month-long food and art market located in our forecourt and surrounding park
