Bob, Sweat and Tears

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse in association with Fatuxa Pty Ltd

The rumours have swirled for years, and now the secret is Out in Bob’s brand new live show, Bob Sweat & Tears!

Australia’s Prince of Polyester, Bob Downe, has been living a rainbow lie! See him come clean and perform brand new macho versions of classic hits including Spinning Wheel, Lola and Leader Of The Gang.

Speaking from his luxury Murwillumbah penthouse Bob says: “The show is a roller coaster ride of shocks, new frocks, fabulous music, surprise guests and the usual laugh a minute. Get in first – before Today Tonight or A Current Affair bash down my door!”

Bob (the sublimely funny alter ego of Mark Trevorrow) has become as iconic a comic creation as Dame Edna, yet despite the passing of time his act feels as fresh and funny as ever.

Jo Litson Scene and Heard, 5 March 2014

His repartee is witty and acerbic, his comic timing and delivery are impeccable.

Kate Herbert Herald Sun, Melbourne, 30 March 2014

A great Fringe icon has returned... admirably slick.
