The Cindy Twitch

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Genevieve Butler

What happens to love when your inspiration comes from rom-coms, fairy tales and porn?

Join Cindy (local comedienne and theatre-maker Genevieve Butler) for a fast-paced romp through the whims and transgressions of modern romance. Everyone is looking for love, but after love comes commitment, scandal and desolation.  From Tinder dates, to chance encounters, to a fairy tale wedding, we follow Cindy’s hilarious and awkward descent into the insanity of love and caprice. The Cindy Twitch is a kamikaze cocktail of pop-culture and coercion, where she endeavours to find out – what comes next after love?

Genevieve is a masterful physical performer…. Fresh, entertaining, physical, on topic, adventurous and brave.
