Powerkids: Little Artists at Play

Canopy by Thom Browning

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Imaginary Theatre

Canopy by Thom Browning

Join us every Tuesday morning during the school term to discover a nature-inspired playspace. Canopy is an immersive sensory experience that brings the outdoors in – a space for playing, adventuring and being together

Inspired by the blissful experience of being immersed in sub-tropical rainforests under a canopy of green, brown and blue, children 5 years and under can explore all the sounds, sights, smells and textures of the rainforest.

It will evoke feelings of awe and wonder through explorations of texture and colour, all inspired by nature.

A free half hourly program, children and parents can lie on the soft rugs and look up at the creative canopy above, or take a tactile adventure around the space, touching and feeling their way through the space and discover the different levels of the canopy.
