Alex Ward

Presented by Brisbane Comedy Festival and Alex Ward

Alex Ward returns home with her debut solo show, Quiet.

Life is full of certainties and uncertainties. For instance, it was uncertain when growing up how straight Alex’s parents could get her teeth, but it was certain they would subject her to as much pain as necessary to achieve their goal. When not performing stand-up, Alex is lighting up the Melbourne air-ways on JOY 94.9. Her new show, Quiet will fill you with anxiety, warmth, self-belief and then hope… and maybe love.

Her material was observational, taking the crowd on a relatable journey.

Weekend Notes

Alex Ward has a confident demeanour fuelling her delightfully inward-targeting humour.
