Convince Me!

Brisbane Comedy Festival Debates

Presented by Brisbane Comedy Festival and Act/React

This event has been cancelled on Fri 17 Mar due to wet weather.

Grab your palm cards, polish your rebuttal and join us in reclaiming the art of debating from Twitter trolls and racist uncles.

Convince Me! is a series of free debates featuring noted Brisbane brains from a diverse range of backgrounds and professions, and festival comedians up for a challenge. No topic will be too sublime nor ridiculous for our clever teams of riotous rhetoricians as they take up opposing positions and work hard to win you over.

Each debate will feature a different line-up, all under the watchful eye of Mr Moderator. But ultimately it is you, the thinking comedy lover, who’ll have to be convinced.
