FALLOT (fä-ˈlō)

Presented by Company 2 in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse

The heart beats over 100,000 times per day, affecting our emotional experience with every action.

The heart is in control. The signals generated by its rhythmic activity determine the quality of our emotional experience from moment to moment.

Circus artist Marianna Joslin was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare heart condition that went undiagnosed for years. How does such an experience shapes one’s life? This is an exploration of the heart… through circus. Transformed, twisted, transplanted, cut open and sewn back together. Modern acrobatics with a heart beating rhythm.

These guys and girls are sure of themselves, doing things with their bodies most of us couldn’t even dream of.

The Advertiser

Joslin exudes confidence and quirkiness, her show toes the line between madness and genius.

The Music

"Chelsea McGuffin and David Carberry have unveiled and staged these insane and award-winning shows. Which also belong to the fantastic ensemble"

Berliner Morgenpost
