Randy Writes a Novel

Presented by Laughing Stock Productions in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse

Direct from sell-out performances and a nomination for Best Comedy show at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Randy from ABC’s Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane is bringing his hit show to Brisbane for the first time.

Randy teams up with a typewriter in this hilarious hour of spoken word and gratuitous arm movements. Kick back as Randy reads excerpts from his unpublished novel whilst getting distracted by his own hate-filled ramblings.

Following the critically acclaimed Randy is Sober and The Last Temptation of Randy – this is what happens when Randy cuts sick for an hour.

NOMINEE Best Comedy Edinburgh Fringe 2016
WINNER Best Comedy Perth Fringe World Festival 2014.
WINNER Best Show Melbourne Comedy Festival 2010 (with Sammy J).

Randy consistently comes out with material far better than most of his human peers ★★★★.

Fest Mag

Actually phenomenal ★★★★.

A daring experiment that subtly reinvents the entire notion of stand-up comedy.
