Broken Romantics

A Vicious Song Cycle by Emma Dean

Presented by Emma Dean in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse

A show for the warriors of love, the ragtag-hearted heroes, the beautiful, the brave, the healed and the crushed.

Join internationally acclaimed songstress Emma Dean, musicians Tony Dean, Richard Grantham and Katie Swan, alongside astonishing physical theatre performer Jamie Kendall, for a night of music, misadventure and mischief.

Featuring Emma’s original music as well as twisted covers of songs by Sia, Montaigne, Foo Fighters and more.

Revel in the messiness of what it means to be human. Raise a glass to your own imperfections, and perhaps… fall in love.

Reviews

Emma Dean’s impressive vocals certainly suit the layered tunes, bewitching the room alone before addition of her violin, keyboard and piano musicianship as a stunning treat to the senses.

Singer, songwriter and self proclaimed ringmaster Emma Dean is a hobobag full of crazy pills. Like the really awesome hallucinogenic kind
