Sweet Charity

Presented by UNDERSTUDY PRODUCTIONS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BRISBANE POWERHOUSE

Welcome to 1966 at the Fandango Ballroom – Madison Avenue is bustling, skirts are shrinking and eternal optimist Charity Hope Valentine is rebuilding a broken heart and is ready for the world.

One of the greatest Broadway musicals, Sweet Charity has been reimagined in a new and intimate setting, placing the story of this young dreamer practically in the audiences lap.

Starring Naomi Price, fresh from Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, as well as star of Australia’s hit TV show The Voice, Sweet Charity tells the story of a young New York City ‘dance hall hostess’ navigating her way through misfortune in life and love.

Filled with hilarious situations and irresistible hits like ‘Big Spender’ and ‘The Rhythm of Life’, Sweet Charity is the musical comedy that will have you deliriously swinging from song to song.

Naomi Price will not be performing on THU 31 JAN. Kate Yaxley will perform the role of Charity Hope Valentine on this evening.
