Talking Can Make It Better

MELT Talks

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and QuAC

Join us to hear how creativity can be a useful starting point in exploring the reduction of suicide and self-harm in our LGBTIQ+, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities.

Guest speakers will discuss various ways in which art can spark useful conversations and increase awareness and access to services across communities. This MELT Talks discussion is part of a wider contribution by the Queensland AIDS Council to the National Suicide Prevention Trial currently being held in the greater Brisbane region.

This creative conversation will accompany a FREE visual arts exhibition during the festival. Click here to view.
