GO423: Game On

Presented by Brisbane International Game Developers Association in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse

It’s game on Brisbane! With some of the world’s most played games coming out of our city, the local game-making industry is more vibrant than ever. GO423 celebrates Brisbane’s long and impressive history in the world of game-making, turning the spotlight on the large number of passionate creative studios making interactive entertainment.

Presented by the Brisbane International Game Developers Association, this one-day event will allow you to get involved with hands-on workshops, play games, chat with developers and discover more about what’s happening locally from the folks who are leading this interactive industry.

More Info

Game On is a game makers’ community program run by the Brisbane International Game Developers Association (brIGDA). It exists because of Brisbane’s local, vibrant game sector; a mix of industry professionals, new upcoming indie studios, and an ever-growing emerging group of creative talent interested in the medium of games & interactive entertainment. Our mission is to foster an active games community and to support the continued growth of networks, both within the local game-making sector and between this sector and the wider public. Game On has been running since 2007, producing yearly programs that include talks, panel discussions, workshops, master classes and game jam events such as Brisbane Global Game Jam and 48 Hour Game Making Challenge. We are actively engaged with local game production studios, and tertiary institutions.
