More Info

Vanguard Burlesque showcases both neo and traditionally classic burlesque acts with a bevy of hand picked performers for each specialty event. Having hosted a selection of internationally recognised and veteran performers, Vanguard has something for everyone.

Vanguard operated at The Manhattan Club in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley in the later half of 2013 before the club's closure. During this period, Vanguard was a huge success, selling out all five of it’s shows held at the venue, and solidified itself as Brisbane’s premiere Burlesque variety event.

The Fox Hotel also played host to Vanguard Burlesque as part of their NYE warehouse party, which saw it’s allocated floor the most popular in the venue all throughout the night.

In 2014 and 2015 Vanguard Burlesque was the face of Brisbane Powerhouse's Wonderland Festival and was the fastest selling show of the season. 2016 saw a number of shows at Cloudland, The Empire Hotel, and finishing off the year with another season of sell out shows at Brisbane's Powerhouse for it's annual Wonderland Festival.

Vanguard Burlesque returned in 2017 with a residency at The Wickham Hotel and a fourth Wonderland season. 2018, and now 2019, sees Vanguard Burlesque continuing its residency at The Wickham Hotel in Brisbane, Australia.
