ABOUT THE ARTIST
Clara Cupcakes is an award-winning comedian, burlesque performer, and drag queen who has been delighting audiences right and left of centre. Inspired by 1920s vaudeville and silent-era comedians, she blends jazz dance, circus, clowning, and surrealist comedy into her unique, offbeat style. With multiple accolades, including two Golden Gibbo nominations (Best Independent Show) at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and recognition from the Adelaide Artist Fund and MX Burlesque Masters finalist, Clara’s work continues to captivate audiences which her unique genre-blending comedy.
