ABOUT THE SHOW

The official after-party show, following DOUBLE VISION: NO PLEXUS + MHZ.

Kuzco [kuuz-co] is an Australian/Maori producer living and creating in Naarm after growing up in Meanjin. A focal member of groups like Middle Name Dance Band, Mon Riser as well as session keyboardist for Harvey Sutherland and Horatio Luna, Kuzco is now working to bring her own creations to the public eye.

With an exciting compilation release via CoOp Records x Allysha Joy, this antipodean broken beat album debuted Kuzco’s track ‘Immunity’. Slowly forging her own sound, this potent piece stands as a foundational piece for her time to come. Her first EP, I Vibe, She Vibes, is a rhythmical outburst of heat, evocative word and deep empowerment.

Kuzco’s musical background spans countless genres and songs, embodying and reflecting on her musical heritage. In her own words the intention is to write music that activates the sensuality of feeling music in the body and reigniting the self with fluid movement.

Supported by Live Music Australia – an Australian Government initiative.
