ABOUT THE SHOW

Two of Australia’s most acclaimed virtuosos continue their ARIA award winning collaboration with Volume Two of their Songs of the Southern Skies project, celebrating some of the finest artists and songwriters from across multiple generations of Australian women.

The new album will be recorded in 2023 and will include songs by artists such as Aunty Ruby Hunter, Kylie, Missy Higgins, Kate Ceberano, Olivia Newton-John, Sarah Blasko, Clare Bowditch, Sia, Deborah Conway and many more. The recording will feature some special guest vocalists and musicians such as Zoe Hauptmann and Jess Green.

After 3 successful albums, including the ARIA award winning Songs of the Latin Skies, and 4 successful tours, Katie and Karin are reuniting to reimagine and interpret songs by some of their favourite Antipodean artists.
