ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nick Giannopoulos is a Greek-Australian stand-up comedian, stage, TV and film actor and film director, and has been described as “Australia’s leading exponent of ‘wog’ humour.”
His comedy stage show Wogs out of Work debuted in 1987 at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was enormously successful, touring for a number of years. The success of the show led to a TV series Acropolis Now, plus the stage shows – Wog-A-Rama, Wogboys – and most recently – Star Wogs in 2018.
Nick has also written, starred in and produced the Aussie box-office smash film – The Wog Boy and its sequels Wog Boy 2: Kings of Mykonos and Wog Boys Forever.
