Are you ready to experience the next generation of film?
Launching its inaugural event in August 2017, the Australian Virtual Reality Film Festival will showcase the world’s greatest virtual reality films and creative works. Selections have been handpicked from across the globe to help people to experience and appreciate this ground-breaking form.
Supported by Screen Queensland, the Australian Virtual Reality Film Festival is set to be a unique platform for innovation, creative development and industry discussion. It’s an opportunity for audiences to experience this immersive film technology first hand, while showcasing the work of pioneering filmmakers.
Opening night will include a special keynote speech from Oscar Raby, Co-Founder and Creative Director at VRTOV, an industry panel, and an opportunity to network and view the first screenings of our program.
