On a beautiful November morning, Michelle jumped on the Brisbane City Cat dressed in a yellow and white dress, bright pink shoes and a one of a kind Sage flower crown to meet an eager Patrick at the New Farm Ferry stop. With cheers from onlookers, the bride and groom made their way to the historic Brisbane Powerhouse. It was there that the couple were married at sunset on the Riverbend Terrace by celebrant Bronwyn Saleh.
Celebrating with more than eighty guests the party made their way to the Rooftop Terrace deck for drinks and canapés while the Brisbane Powerhouse team made the finishing touches to the reception space. Utilising the industrial graffiti of the room the space was styled with rustic florals from Brisbane Flower Markets and eleven delicious cakes from Lady Bouchon Cakes as centrepieces. The unique centrepieces were placed on wooden trestle tables each set for their sit down reception by Zen Catering.
As guests entered the picture-perfect reception space they were seated to enjoy a feast with their closest friends and family, many travelling from all different corners of the globe just to witness the happy couple on their perfect day. With full bellies and even fuller glasses, the party went long into the night.
Congratulations Michelle and Patrick!
Michelle and Patrick: “We had such a great day and Brisbane Powerhouse was an amazing place to get married. We got so much feedback from our guests about how much they loved the venue. We often go to Brisbane Powerhouse for events, so it had a special meaning to us as well. Also, you and your staff were fantastic and made it so easy! I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of having an event there.”
