The Huxleys

The Huxleys’ surreal serenade wanders through the feast, creating costumed chaos and abstract interactions in their wake, inviting audiences into a dream state of colour, sparkle and absurdity. Designed as a moving installation the performances are exquisitely ephemeral, drifting in and out of your mind and sight, leaving a lingering of glamour, outrage and a smile on your face.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Will and Garrett Huxley are Melbourne-based collaborative performance and visual artists. Combined, they are The Huxleys.

This dynamic duo are a camp and disco-enthused spectacle living in a hyperbolic, pop-literate world where no normal exists. Not to be limited, they spread their absurd and surrealist sparkle across the visual art, performance and entertainment sectors, traversing the classifications of costume, film and recording.

Since 2014 The Huxleys have performed, exhibited and participated in numerous exhibitions, projects and events in Australia, and internationally in London, Berlin, Moscow, New York and Hong Kong. Their works have been presented in museums, festivals, and exhibited in libraries of great renown.
