Ballet International Gala III

Australia’s BIGGEST ballet gala will return to Brisbane for one night only in February 2023, to debut the first in its series of “Up Close & Personal” performances, exclusively at Brisbane Powerhouse.

International superstars, Iana Salenko and Marian Walter will headline the performance in what promises to be a ballet performance like no other.

This is BIG.

In an Australian first, BIG‘s guest artists and producers will also participate in a Q&A session following their performances.

Ballet international Gala (BIG) was co-founded by Joel Burke and Khalid Tarabay in 2021 during the height of the pandemic and as the first international ballet production to visit Australia since the Bolshoi’s tour of 2019.

Since making its debut in January 2022, BIG has brought 16 of the world’s best international artists to Australia; has had more than 11,500 thousand people enjoy its show; has performed to sell out audiences at QPAC, the BCEC, the Star and TEC; and, has contributed over $4 million to Queensland’s economy in the space of 11 months.
