Bombshell Burlesque is a boutique events and entertainment company based in Brisbane, Queensland.
Bombshell Burlesque is the producer of The Bombshell Burlesque Academy's highly successful graduation show The Bombshells Ball which runs 6 events per year, A Brief History of Burlesque, The Bombshell Burlesque Revue series and the Miss Bombshell Pinup Pageant.
Our director, Lila Luxx, has made it her mission to bring theatrical quality to burlesque shows in Brisbane. At the helm of both Bombshell Burlesque and The Bombshell Burlesque Academy, Lila combines her passion for performing arts, experience in arts management and production skills to present popular and polished events.
Lila’s affinity for event management and production lead her to study a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre) and Post Graduate Diploma of Arts and Cultural Management. She has successfully produced a range of dynamic and diverse events including rock bands, contemporary dance, theatre and, of course, burlesque.
After 6 years at Queensland’s major performing arts centre coordinating the execution of event contracts and high profile settlements, Lila became a freelance producer in 2014 and has been in consistent demand since.
Previous projects include being engaged as a producer in programming teams responsible for delivering the G20 Commonwealth Cultural Component including ballet, opera, indigenous and orchestral performances for world leaders and their spouses and the world record breaking Valentine’s Busk.
In 2015, Lila was also engaged by Brisbane Festival to develop programs for their opening day and busking series, as well as deliver a film program, circus, cabaret and orchestral events.
