Brisbane Portrait Prize is all about celebrating Brisbane portrait artists and their sitters while encouraging public engagement with the arts.

Any artist with a connection to Brisbane is eligible to enter, and the sitter must also have a connection with Brisbane.

Brisbane Powerhouse is delighted to bring back the Brisbane Portrait Prize exhibition for the fourth year running.

To manage capacities and ensure we all stay COVID-safe, you will however need to book tickets for exhibition sessions.

Join us for an Auslan tour, on Saturday October 15, 3-5pm, led by a Brisbane Portrait Prize board member, working alongside an Auslan interpreter. Engage with a selection of Finalist artworks on display and take part in an inclusive group discussion. BOOK NOW.
