Peter and the Wolf has been cancelled to meet the Federal Government’s directive on limiting non-essential mass gatherings to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Ticket buyers will be provided with a full refund.
If you purchased your tickets online, the card holder will receive an automatic refund within the next 15-20 working days.

Young audiences are invited on a woodland adventure as Peter and his friends, Bird, Cat and Duck, try to capture the Wolf who is causing havoc in the countryside. Created by Queensland Ballet’s Greg Horsman, this brand-new ‘My First Ballet’ production pays homage to the 1960 season of Peter and the Wolf, choreographed by Queensland Ballet founder and former Artistic Director, Charles Lisner OBE.
This immersive live theatre experience for children will charm audiences as they venture into the captivating world of one of the most loved fairy tales.
Featuring the iconic music of Sergei Prokofiev, first performed in 1936 and accompanied by a narrator, this delightful ballet will capture the imaginations of children and the young at heart, bringing story, ballet and symphonic music together.
With a suite of educational and creative activities to be enjoyed around the performances, at home or elsewhere, children’s creativity will thrive.
