Join Robert Forster and his sparkling three-piece band, for what will be his only Brisbane show and his first full-band show in the city in over eighteen months.
Forster will create a fresh program for this one-off show, promising Go-Betweens favourites, recent solo album classics, including his latest city anthem ‘Inferno (Brisbane In Summer)’, plus songs from his acclaimed reissued nineties solo albums – ‘Danger In The Past’ and ‘Calling From A Country Phone’.
Forster will also showcase new songs written in Brisbane winter, and you won’t want to miss his first cover song on stage in decades. What an extraordinary night it shall be!
His band will be up to the task; incorporating longtime collaborators, Karin Bãumler on violin, and multi-instrumentalists Scott Bromily and Luke McDonald. Everyone sings. Everyone is happy. Welcome to the show of the summer.
