Amy Currie and Drew Lochrie are performers, writers and improvisers based in Brisbane.
Amy is the former artistic director of ImproMafia, and has performed as far afield as Beijing, New York, and Edinburgh, and has represented QLD at the Theatresports™ National Championships. Amy co-wrote and appears in Love/Hate Actually, a comedy showdown set to make its UK debut at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She plays Sybil as part of the Australian touring cast of Faulty Towers The Dining Experience and performs often at Brisbane Powerhouse with both ImproMafia and Act/React Theatre.
Drew is originally from the UK. Most recently, he played villain Billy Zane in Act/React Theatre’s Titanic: The Movie, The Play. He performs regularly with ImproMafia, and has appeared often at the Brisbane Comedy Festival. Drew played Judge Hathorne in Brisbane Arts Theatre’s The Crucible in 2018, and regularly performs original sketch and improvised comedy with Big Fork Theatre. Drew won Best Cabaret Performer at the 2017 Short+Sweet Festival QLD as part of a completely improvised act.
