Stephan Moccio, the Grammy and Academy Award-nominated composer, pianist, producer, arranger and recording artist comes to Australia for the first time. An intimate music experience with Stephan Moccio is not to be missed.

One of the most compelling writers in music today, he possesses a rare power to express incredibly complex and nuanced emotions through melody alone. In recent years, the classically trained pianist has shown his melodic ingenuity in such iconic hits such as Miley Cyrus’s seven-times-platinum Wrecking Ball, garnered three Grammy nominations, and received an Oscar nod for co-writing The Weeknd’s seven-times-platinum Earned It—all while establishing himself as a highly esteemed recording artist.

Stephan Moccio’s first solo piano performance in Australia will see him perform his original music from acclaimed albums Tales of Solace and Lionheart, along with hit songs he has penned for superstars like Celine Dion, Dua Lipa and Avril Lavigne.

The cathartic nature of his writing process and the unbridled emotionality he has devoted into his music will be evident in his premiere performance Down Under. Stephen has affirmed himself as a truly singular force who’s redefining the possibilities of piano music, adding an entirely new urgency to the time-honoured genre of neoclassical music.
