Bri Lee
ABOUT THE SHOW
The bestselling author of Eggshell Skull returns with her debut novel about art, power, love and money.
Academic and activist, Bri Lee exploded onto the literary scene with her first book Eggshell Skull, a compassionate yet haunting reflection upon the injustices experienced by survivors of assault, not only at the hands of their perpetrators but also within the Australian legal system. The book went on to win the Biography of the Year award at the ABIA Awards, the People’s Choice Award at the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, and a place on the 2019 Stella Prize longlist.
Join Bri in conversation with Rick Morton as she discusses her latest release, The Work. A debut novel, about the biggest intersections of life: of art and commerce, of intimacy and distance, of talent and entitlement, and of labour and privilege.
