COME PLAY AT BRISBANE POWERHOUSE

PowerPlay, presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and BMD, is a new initiative that celebrates young people as active creators, placing them at the heart of the artistic experience.

Designed for children and their families, PowerPlay offers a dynamic program of FREE workshops, events and hands-on cultural activities that encourage curiosity, play and imagination. The program reflects the richness and diversity of our community while opening up new ways to experience the arts.

Launching the program is a series of archiKID workshops, taking place on Saturday 04 July, Friday 26 September and Friday 05 December 2026.

Led by international architects and designers, these sessions use the built environment as a tool for playful exploration and discovery. Through making, testing and collaborating, participants develop creative confidence, spatial awareness and problem-solving skills in a fun, open-ended learning environment.
