ABOUT THE SHOW

In Triangulated Hideout, young makers take on a playful building challenge: transforming simple triangular surfaces into three-dimensional structures that can stand on their own and claim as much space as possible.

Make it taller. Stretch it wider. Find surprising ways to keep it standing. Can you make enough space to peek through, crawl under – or even get inside?

Working first in small teams and then joining forces, children will experiment, test, tumble, rebuild, and discover their own ways of making structure through play. As individual hideouts begin to connect, the challenge grows: how can separate structures come together to create even more space?

With no single right answer and no final form to copy, every new connection changes what the construction can become.

Developed by archiKID, the workshop brings together architecture, geometry, play, and hands-on collaborative making, inviting children and families to explore space and structure through experimentation and imagination. Designed for participants aged 2–99, everyone can join the challenge at their own level and contribute to an evolving collective playscape.

How far can your hideout grow? Come build it and find out.
