WORKING WITH US

TICKETING ADMINISTRATOR

We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Ticketing Administrator to join our Ticketing and Operations team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality ticketing services to patrons, artists, and clients, ensuring seamless event delivery from setup to settlement. You will be responsible for ticketing builds in our system, supporting box office operations, managing ticket allocations, preparing sales reports, and assisting with patron enquiries.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least two years’ experience in ticketing, box office, or a related administrative role, ideally within an arts, entertainment, or venue environment. You will also have strong technical skills with ticketing software (e.g., Ticketek, Ticketmaster, or similar).

If you are an organised and detail-oriented ticketing professional who wants to contribute to the Brisbane arts scene, we’d love to hear from you. Applications close 12 October 2025. View a full position description here.

VOLUNTEERS – NIGHT FEAST AND MELT FESTIVAL

Brisbane Powerhouse is proud to present two of the city’s most exciting cultural events: Night Feast, an immersive art and feasting experience that transforms Brisbane Powerhouse and the surrounding parklands into a vibrant culinary and creative playground, and Melt, our annual celebration of Queer art, artists, and ideas, showcasing bold performances, exhibitions, parades, and events that champion diversity and creativity.

Where We Need Your Help
As part of the Visitor Services team, volunteers will become the welcoming face of our festivals, helping deliver memorable experiences for thousands of patrons by greeting guests and providing information about Night Feast and Melt, roaming the precinct to assist with patron queries, supporting operational and front-of-house staff across venues and event spaces, and contributing to major activations such as parades, outdoor picnics, and special performances.

Volunteer Commitment
Volunteer Commitment runs from 15 October to 9 November 2025, with shifts typically lasting 3–5 hours, including evening and weekend availability. Volunteers must complete at least two shifts during the festival, prioritising those available on peak event/festival dates. All participants must also attend a short induction session at Brisbane Powerhouse before the event to cover orientation, safety, and role expectations.

Do you think this is the right fit for you? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply to register your interest.
