FIRST NATIONS PRODUCER

Located on the Brisbane River (Maiwar), Brisbane Powerhouse is a leading destination for contemporary culture and the arts, presenting more than 1,750 performances and events each year and hosting major festivals including Brisbane Comedy Festival, Melt and Night Feast.

Working closely with artists, communities and internal teams, the First Nations Producer contributes to the coordination and delivery of programs and projects while supporting strong engagement with First Nations creatives and cultural advisors.

We are seeking a First Nations and/or Torres Strait Islander professional with experience supporting the delivery of arts, cultural, or live programs. You will bring a strong understanding of First Nations cultural contexts and the experiences of artists working in the sector, along with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and timelines, collaborating across teams, and responding flexibly during peak delivery periods, including evenings and weekends.

This is an identified First Nations and/or Torres Strait Islander position. Applicants must identify as First Nations and/or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted as such by their community.
