Architects of Sound
ABOUT THE SHOW
Brisbane’s cult electro-clown provocateurs Architects of Sound rise again; bolder, brattier, and broker than ever. Spandex-clad & genre-defiant, they’re ready to cash in on their queerness and become ungovernable as they unleash their bold new era: ARTFAP.
Strap in for a high-voltage live music experience colliding visual album, mockumentary, and queer dancefloor meltdown. Expect 10 new tracks, classic cult hits, and larger-than-life visuals as Valencia Low-Fi, Amaro Mayfair and Sutro return to stage for the comeback no-one asked for, but everyone deserves.
13 years in the making. 10 new tracks. One second debut album.
PART OF MELT FESTIVAL

ABOUT THE ARTIST
From underground acclaim to viral demos and their now-legendary debut album The Holy Trinity (2016), Architects of Sound have remained uncompromising in sound and spirit. They do not make music, they are not musicians, they are the architects of sound.
With past appearances at Brisbane Festival, Mardi Gras, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Fringe World and more, this is Brisbane underground queer performance at its most unpredictable and electric.
2025 will mark the 13 year anniversary of Architects of Sound formation during an electrical storm in a Bray Park garage. Since inception, The Architects have provided a humorous snapshot into the contemporary arts landscape, with works designed as a provocation that allows audiences the opportunity to openly view their relationship with popular culture and how they consume it. The Architects respond to the ever-changing pop culture landscape by holding a mirror up to the ridiculousness of reality.
Join the cult. Embrace the chaos. Worship the sound.
