ABOUT THE SHOW

An Interactive Drop-In Experience Inspired by the Patterns of Growth

This workshop explores growth as a process of observation, imagination, and collective making. Inspired by the patterns and structures found in plants, it brings together architecture, art, geometry, and nature to create an engaging interdisciplinary experience for children and families.

Developed as part of archiKID’s archiGREEN series, the workshop invites participants to discover how simple rules found in nature can generate complex forms. Through playful challenges, hands-on experimentation, and collaborative construction, participants explore patterns of plant growth while contributing to a shared creative process.

Designed for all ages (2–99), the event encourages participants to observe, take inspiration from nature, and, most importantly, make together. As individual contributions become part of a larger whole, children and families experience how creativity, dialogue, and collaboration can transform simple ideas into meaningful spatial and artistic experiences.

The outcome is a large-scale collective installation created by all participants. Displayed as a public artwork and interactive environment, it celebrates environmental awareness, imagination, teamwork, and the joy of building together.
