ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Dr Kathryn Heyman is the author of seven novels as well as a memoir, a poetry collection and several dramas for stage and for BBC radio. Her work has won and been nominated for numerous awards in Australia and the UK and her memoir, Fury, is in development as a feature film. Circle of Wonders is her latest novel.
Dr Eleanor Limprecht is the author of five novels. Her short fiction, essays and journalism have been published internationally. Her work has been shortlisted for the ALS Gold Medal and awarded the ASA Blake-Beckett scholarship. She teaches creative writing and is a visiting fellow at SLNSW.
Katherine Johnson is a Tasmanian novelist and science writer. Her fifth novel, Every Wild Soul, won the inaugural Australian Fiction Prize. Paris Savages was shortlisted in the ABIA awards and was The Times Historical Fiction Book of the Month. The Better Son was a Tasmanian Literary Award winner.
Dinuka McKenzie is the author of the Detective Kate Miles crime series, The Torrent, Taken and Tipping Point, published in Australia and the UK. She is the winner of the 2020 HarperCollins Australia Banjo Prize. Her writing has been shortlisted for the Sisters in Crime – Davitt Awards, the Bad Sydney Crime – Danger Awards, and longlisted for the Richell Prize. Dinuka lives with her family in Southern Sydney on Dharawal country. She Lied First, a standalone psychological suspense, is her fourth novel.
Laura Elvery is the author of two short story collections, Ordinary Matter and Trick of the Light, and a novel, Nightingale, which won the 2025 People’s Choice Queensland Book of the Year Award. She lives in Brisbane.
